Services & Products

Our Focus Is Delivering Optimal Selections To Every Industry Requiring Temperature-Controlled Solutions.

Multiplex Systems

Previously, multiplex systems have had low uptake in the industry because of high initial cost. However, they supply high savings over the system’s lifecycle. Pros include added capacity as a result of low outdoor temperatures, high energy savings as they operate at low head pressure, and the ability to adjust capacity automatically per need, as well as reduced energy consumption. With digital diagnosis they improve performance and reliability. Active monitoring allows for addressing issues promptly, as well as reporting on energy use and adjustments during peak times.

Cold Rooms

Vital to the daily running of multiple businesses, whether food retail, manufacturing, hospitality, or pharmaceuticals – any sector where goods need to be kept at specific temperatures. Essential to keeping products at optimal temperatures, and ensuring the products are sold in the best possible condition.

Freezer Rooms

Essentially, the difference between a walk-in freezer and a cold room is temperature. A cold room operates at temperatures ranging between +2C°and +5C°; in contrast, freezer rooms operate at temperatures between -25C° to -18C°. Consequently, a cold room is considered cold, but the purpose of the freezer room is to freeze the items and preserve them further. Low thermal transmittance and reliability, efficiency and stability are key.

Blast Freezers

Blast freezers are very cold and are also named “shock freezers” – they rapidly freeze foodstuffs and fresh produce, and maintain the integrity of ice creams, pre-prepared meals, fish and vegetables. Benefits include inhibiting bacteria growth and reduction of contamination, provided the food is safely prepared and frozen immediately.

Biltong rooms

With drying rooms and equipment for producing biltong and other dried meat, it is essential to ensure that moisture is drawn out at a controlled rate and that the moisture-laden air is exhausted from the space where the meat is kept. Temperature and humidity logging are also factors, as are the appropriate selection of the materials of construction to suit the application and the filtration of the biltong.

Water chiller systems

A chiller works on the principle of vapor compression or vapor absorption. As the heat transfer takes place, the refrigerant evaporates, changing from a low-pressure liquid into vapor, while the temperature of the process coolant reduces. The refrigerant then flows to a compressor, which performs multiple functions.

Evaporative coolers

Evaporative air conditioning uses the natural process of evaporation to cool the air. A pump circulates water from a reservoir onto a cooling pad, and a fan draws fresh air from outside through the saturated pad. As the air passes through the pad, it’s cooled by evaporation. This approach to cooling may be simple, but it is also highly effective. Ventilation and ducted systems Ducts are conduits or passages used in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning to deliver and remove air. The needed airflows include, for example, supply air, return air, and exhaust air. Ducts commonly also deliver ventilation air as part of the supply air. As such, air ducts are one method of ensuring acceptable indoor air quality as well as thermal comfort.

Air-conditioning units

Choosing an air-conditioner involves not only ensuring that the make and warranties are good, but remember that having chosen the unit, there is an installation process that follows and of course its long-term servicing and maintenance. This is essential to its efficiency and economy of performance.
